Message from Jenniffer
Oh my gosh, how time flies! It’s back to school already and Fall is
just around the corner. We are coming out of our busiest Wedding season ever!
We have some big news! It looks like our cakes will be appearing in an upcoming airing of “Say Yes to the Dress” on TLC. We did a beautiful wedding at the Read House where there was a cake on every table (29!) as well as the Bridal Cake and Groom’s cake. If you want to check them out, we have it all
pictured on our
blog. We'll keep you informed as soon as we get a date and time that
the show will air.

Decorating Classes
Oh look, it's
more great news! Cup a Dee Cakes has teamed up with Dalton State College
to offer a series of 2 cake decorating classes. Professional
Cake Decorating for the Fondant Challenged I will begin on September 15th
and meet each Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:30pm until October 6th. The class is
$69 with a $30 material fee. The material fee means I provide almost all
of the supplies you will need in class. You will only be required to
bring in naked cake to decorate.
Professional
Cake Decorating for the Fondant Challenged II begins on October 27th
and meets every Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:30pm until November 17th. The
class fee is $69, but if take class one, your materials fee will only be $10!
Call the Dalton
State College Continuing Education department at 706.272.4454 to sign up
before all the spots are filled! It is my understanding that at the end
of the year the Continuing Ed program at DSC will cease to exist... so this
may be your only chance to learn my cake decorating secrets! Call
today! We are going to have a blast!

Classes
with Mike McCarey
Speaking of
classes, I’m getting ready to take a class from Mike McCarey in October and I just can’t wait. He is the best cake artist out there! He has won
every Food Network Challenge in which he has participated. I feel so fortunate that I’m going to get to spend two full days with him. I’ll keep you up to date with pictures of my class work.

Lastly, I want
to say how much I enjoy communicating with all my customers, but it seems like
this newsletter seems to fall by the wayside more and more. Feel free to
follow our web blog or become a
Fan
on Facebook. It seems I can communicate more quickly and succinctly
using these other methods of communication.
